Hey doc ive got a series of things to ask you and some of these dont make sense to ask at all but ive got a bet with a homie 1. Can you be a dentist with bad teeth 2. How many dentist have enhancements like implants veneers crowns 3. Ive never seen any dentist whos short at all does being tall matter 4. I have bad teeth and am thinking of dentistry as a career cause i want to help people who have struggled similar to what i have 5. Any advice?

He's a second generation dentist who inherited his dad's practice years ago, and I credit Dr. Morang and his staff fully for having restored my oral health over these last few years after me having spent many years in active addiction and not caring for my dental health. I'm going in on Monday morning to have a permanent crown installed on a prep that was completed 10 days ago. I plan on telling Dr. Morang about your channel and ask him whether he goes to this level of preparation before installing crowns. My bet is that he doesn't, but my hunch is that he is the quality of provider who will be doing so once he sees a few of your videos. Thank you for all of the time you put into creating and sharing content. Though it seems super educational for new dentists, it's also been fantastic for me... a patient who still has some anxiety because of the length of time I spent out of the habit of caring for myself. Sober since July 6, 2004, btw. 😊

Why did you reduce the light before etching?

The front teeth restoration that is done to fix the deep bite, the back teeth dont touch right ? Isnt that really uncomfortable and doesnt it put more pressure on the front teeth making them prone to breaking?

I was considering dental implants, but when I heard stories about the screws breaking from my friend who's a dentist, it REALLY scared me and turned me off to the whole idea...

1 - Protect the threads with a suitably sized titanium ring, ideally which threads over the threads themselves. 2 - Use a small diameter drill-bit to drill 2 holes into the top of the fractured screw. Lock the drill in place and start slow. 3 - Use a snake-eye driver placed into the holes you have drilled to turn the screw.

Hi Dr.Cuomo, patient was referred to me from other practice , she all on 6 hybrid denture., she has broke teeth, she has 3I NT , I tried to remove the all on 4. one screw is broke off, other screw is stripped off, I was able to retrieve one screw, she said, she has lost couple of screws I tried to remove the other screws , it was not engaging , she doesn't have any information about prosthetic screw and hard to see even with the loupes, where should I order stain and tartar solution I was wondering if you can give me any suggestions

Question. The cavity was small but the excavation seemed to expand well beyond. Why is that? Also, won’t the gum recede from the restoration because it must attach to enamel? The post op gingival height is much higher (long tooth). Will it lower and attach to the composite or retract or remain at that height? The color matching and texture was spot on.

My dentist in the UK is refusing to help me save a tooth way less problematic than this (but admittedly loose), she wants to get rid of it and charge upwards of £700 for a single tooth denture which she admits will be hard to keep still. My issue is bottom middle tooth. All told with the extraction it is more or less a grand for something harder to live with than a loose tooth.

can this tool be used to take out zest locators that snap in thanks my dentist just did my implants and was fitting my denture locator and put some kind of adhesive glue on my denture than put it in my mouth and told me to bite down for five minute than he try to take out my over denture with force and broke a abutement locator

I've been using tofflemire band and retainer assembly for class v since a while and it's amazing ! better easier and faster than placing cords! I gotta say that that dry gingiva is a gift!

For those asking; I consider it easier to section a molar and take individual pieces as opposed to fighting with 3 roots at the same time. It is less traumatic and it saves your hands. Work smarter not harder. If the tooth is loose then yes, forcep only. But a solid molar will have to be split.

Can I ask - if one tooth is wobbly and you attach it to a stronger tooth. Is there a chance that the stronger tooth could become wobbly (even with dental care). Also, do you have to use a soft tooth brush over the rib-bond as opposed to an electric or harder bristled brush?
